D. F. Dent and Company, Inc. has been offering independent investment advice for over 48 years. Since Dan Dent founded the firm in 1976, the team has grown to sixteen investment professionals. Our professionals come from various investment backgrounds with diverse professional experience. DF Dent is 100% employee-owned and committed to remaining independent.
Since inception, DF Dent has developed a national clientele of endowments, pensions, corporations and individuals. Without formal marketing or distribution channels, the firm’s asset base has grown almost entirely from appreciation and referrals to $10.3 billion in equities and fixed-income securities (as of 9/30/24).
